Covered in plain white
Moments before you were breathing right
The smile you carried, shiny bright
How will I cope with you, out of sight?
The blooming plants await you to feed them
Stray dogs seek love...
Whether Eve ate it or Adam plucked it
Is unknown and will forever be
Thoughtful or not, they savoured the juice
Of what before, they’d never seen
The urge unavoidable or not
Still exploring their own being
A dozen emotions, unseen
Hundred voices, unheard
Trapped within a shell, lying beneath
Untouched by wanderers around!
Swiftly passing by, the many men
Caress the beauty of shells, easily spotted
My parallels they are
Sooth their outsides clean
